Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
May 16, 2020
As much as our team has enjoyed serving you through our online worship experiences and small groups the past several weeks, we’ve been praying for the day when we can finally meet together again IN PERSON.
As our national, state, and local governments are formulating plans to loosen restrictions on public gatherings, it means we are getting closer to making in-person services and events possible.
At this point we are still operating online only for the foreseeable future. Our Lead Team continues to pray, plan, and develop a plan to implement that will create the most safe and healthy environment possible when we meet again IN PERSON.
We’ll look forward to worshipping together online Sunday morning. Take a moment and invite a friend now, it could change his/her life!

On Saturday, April 11, 2020, our Governor updated a public health order which extended the restrictions of Mass Gatherings to churches and other places of worship. We want to assure you that the safety of our church body, team members, and staff is a top priority! In light of the recent policy change, our lead team sought clarification from the Governor’s office to ensure that we are still abiding by any necessary restrictive measures.
Representatives from the Governor’s office informed us that our current procedure adheres to stated guidelines and that we are cleared to continue producing services as we have been. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and update our process if it becomes necessary.
Our Triumph Centre family has been absolutely amazing during this time! Although different, our online services have been positively accepted and God continues to work through this church to reach a lost world.
The online presence of each and everyone of you is crucial to Triumph Centre pursuing its mission to Love God & Love People! Please continue to like and share our live-stream services. We have already had numerous reports of people being blessed through this church’s online presence who have never stepped through our doors! Imagine that! What an incredible opportunity we have to not just survive, but grow and thrive as a church body through this time of uncertainty. With God, we can!
Subscribe to our YouTube channel if you have not yet, and we will see you this Sunday!

In light of multiple announcements from our national and state leaders today, including President Trump's recommendation of eliminating gatherings of groups larger than 10 to help limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to suspend ALL in-person corporate events for at least 15 days.
We will not be meeting together in-person on Sundays, or for Small Groups throughout the week.
Our Lead Team is diligently working a plan to continue with a Sunday morning worship experience. When the plan is finalized, we’ll update you. We continue to monitor the situation and will remain mindful and make our corporate decisions in compliance with the recommendations provided.
Despite the situation, remember Jesus is still on the throne and He’s still in control! Do not let fear overwhelm you! If you find yourself held by fear, ask yourself, “Am I feeding this fear by staying glued to the TV or social media?” If the answer is yes, we’d encourage you to step away from both, stop feeding the fear, and take time to fill your mind with God’s word.
We love you! We’re praying for you! If you have any specific prayer requests please DM us or email us at staff@triumphabq.org. We’d love to pray with you! As always, feel free to call any of our Lead Team members if you need personal counsel or prayer.

Good evening! We wanted to take a moment to let you know that we are very aware of and staying up-to-date on the developing news surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19) in New Mexico. The health and safety of our church family is a top priority for our Lead Team. Today, NM’s Health Secretary issued an order prohibiting large gatherings, but included several exemptions, including places of worship. As of right now, we plan to have church on Sunday morning. However, in line with CDC recommendations, we are encouraging senior citizens, people with serious chronic medical conditions, and those with weakened immune systems to stay home.
In addition to the regularly scheduled cleaning of our facilities, we are taking extra steps to ensure a clean and safe environment. We are implementing additional cleaning and sanitizing of areas that experience high levels of contact prior to our worship experience Sunday, and are taking extra precautionary steps including not passing offering buckets. Our kids areas will be open! We are also going the extra mile in our kids areas by thoroughly sanitizing the spaces and removing a majority of common items like toys to maintain a clean classroom environment. For those who may be hesitant about having your children in class, they are welcome to accompany you in our main worship experience.
We are actively monitoring the situation and are mindful of the recommendations of federal, state & local government agencies and health professionals and will provide updates via email and social media.
As part of our church culture we enjoy shaking hands, high-fiving, and hugging! While we will continue to welcome each other warmly, we do not expect you to make physical contact with any person that you may or may not know. A simple smile and a wave will be more than enough...others will understand!
WE WILL stream our worship experience THIS SUNDAY on Facebook live for those who would prefer not to attend in person. We’ll be live @ 10:30am at facebook.com/triumphabq.
If you are experiencing any signs of fever or sickness, please stay home and get better.
Finally, as your Lead Team, we want to remind all of us of who we are in Christ and what the Bible teaches. Remember, “God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). While WISDOM is always our best practice (Ephesians 5:15-17) we should never be paralyzed by fear. Ungodly fear comes directly from the enemy and he would love for you to be crippled by your fears. Our trust, hope, and confidence is in the Lord (Jeremiah 17:7) and every day we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)!
TC family, we love you – we are praying for you – and we are looking forward to another POWERFUL Sunday!
